Displacement Reconstruction from Strain
This tutorial demonstrates how a displacement field can be reconstructed from a prescribed strain field. Such inverse problems arise in experimental mechanics, digital image correlation (DIC), and strain-based measurement techniques, where strains are available but displacements are not directly measured.
The example illustrates how the displacement field can be recovered by solving the corresponding weak form, followed by visualization and validation of the reconstructed results.
