Stokes' Theorem
This tutorial demonstrates line and surface integration by numerically verifying Stokes' theorem on one octant of a sphere. The circulation of a three-dimensional vector field along the oriented boundary is compared with the flux of its curl through the curved surface.
The example also illustrates tangent- and normal-vector fields, the curl operator, transferring a volume field to surface elements, and an additional rigid-body-rotation check of the vector-field operations.
